Pros

Working from home. No expensive setup costs - just a basic laptop/pc and telephone headset. Paid hourly (just above min wage) + sales commission (very small amount). Choose own hours (within reason, there are some conditions). Holiday pay.

Cons

Work is monotonous and soul destroying, and you're reprimanded by your team leader if you dare to say you're not enjoying yourself. Targets are almost impossible to achieve. If you don't make the targets your hours are cut and they will eventually sack you. Very high staff turnover - if you survive a month you're an old-timer. Team leaders are barely out of high school and hide their true identities ... this in itself tells you all you need to know about this company. They lie to you about where their call data comes from - they are bought lists, the people you are calling have not registered an interest in the product you're trying to sell them. Very shady.
