Pros
-Work/Life Balance
-Benefits (401K - 6%match, tuition reimbursement, stock options, good PTO)
-Fair Compensation
-Vast Majority of coworkers are good people.
-Lots of Bonuses (1-3 weeks pay each time) given out last 18 months from good company performance during Covid.
-Company did everything it could to retain/support employees during covid. Even those who took short-term pay cuts were reimbursed any difference in full, plus more, after covid. Absolutely incredible. Doubt any other company has done these things.
-Every company has its issues but there really are A LOT of pros to this company and the grass elsewhere is not always greener.
Cons
-The "web" of Thermo can be difficult to navigate making career advancement and opportunities unclear at times.
-Certain departments face higher turnover and processes are broken. Company been trying to fix certain depts/issues for years and it's a big problem.
-Leadership/Hierarchy constantly changing.
-Promotional and annual raises could be better.
