Pros
Small work environment means you will work with your direct supervisor and boss likely at the same time. You will learn everyday. Relative freedom within your environment. A great stepping stone.
Cons
The pay is not competitive. Long hours with very few breaks. The management company is slow to adjust to the times.

Pros
Considered one of the best hotels in KC with a rich history that's preserved by long-standing employees. The employees that have been there for 5+ years are great people. The property caters to a specific clientele and occasionally high-profile individuals, many of who are frequently reoccurring guests. The Raphael hotel is also a great stepping stone for future hoteliers due to the clientele
Cons
Incredibly high turnover rate among management and lower associates, management doesn't care too much for employees considering the high turnover rate. Non-competitive wages compared to similar properties. Minimal opportunity to advance into managerial roles. Everything is micromanaged, making it unnecessarily difficult to resolve very minor issues.
