Pros

This is an enjoyable and rewarding job with a fantastic team of coworkers. The work environment is positive and collaborative, making each day both engaging and fulfilling. Management is highly transparent about company developments, ensuring that employees are well-informed and included in the organization's direction. Additionally, my immediate manager is supportive and approachable, consistently making me feel valued and heard.

Cons

The only con is that it's part time work and not full time.

Pros

This job came at a really big transitional point in my life. In 2020 the pandemic brought major shutdowns to the entertainment industry. With that, I lost my job as a touring stage carpenter. I applied to work at TeamBuilding part time in May of 2020 and I have worked here ever since. Below are some of the pros that have kept me here since then: - Exceptionally flexible with scheduling. As long as you're up to date on your calendar, they'll always have shifts for you, or coverage when you aren't available. - Remote Work or In Person events are always available. You prefer working from home? Great! Like to mix it up in person? Awesome! Flexible and can do both? Even better! - Remote work from anywhere. As long as you have your laptop and decent lighting, you can host or cohost virtual events from anywhere in the world. - We have monthly team meetings. Management does a good job of keeping us up to date with policy changes, new events for the season, onboarding new team members, etc. I always feel pretty in the loop with new information in the company. - Management finds fun ways to celebrate us on new milestones or achievements. Bonuses, gift cards, shout outs. Its really uplifting. Not only for work milestones either. A lot of our team members have a lot of outside talents. Company members come out to each others shows, exhibits, weddings, you name it. To me, that's what make this feel like family.

Cons

Considering the convenience this has been for me over the years, I honestly don't see a lot of cons. If anything, I'd maybe like to see TeamBuilding's in person events pop up more frequently in my area.

Thank you so much for your review. We're thrilled to hear you had such a positive experience as a Seasonal Host/Co-Host with us, and your enthusiasm for working with us again is music to our ears! Our team is proud of our fun and vibrant culture, and it's fantastic to know that it resonated with you. And it's so true - our work demands creativity, and artists and performers looking to take on some additional work really thrive in our environment. Your feedback about the remote nature of the role and the challenges of providing more hours for our seasonal-only staff is valid, and we're constantly looking for ways to improve team integration and foster connections even in virtual settings. Let us know if you have any ideas based on your time here. Thank you again for your review and contribution to our team. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors and hope to see you back on the team soon! In the meantime, please stay connected with us on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/65023728) to watch for more job openings.
