      Pros

      Rick & his wife Elizabeth Rogers bought us January 2022. Ever since then, it's been nothing but uphill. I survived the hard times to truly be blessed to have such wonderful management now. They CARE...shocker! We are grateful to have Rick at the helm, with his vast social media knowledge and extensive newspaper background. He's the type of manager that WILL roll up his sleeves and cover a council meeting or help edit pages or cover a sports game. It's TRULY a wonderful breath of fresh air.

      Under this new management, still no cons. Just positives. I hope Rick never leaves us!!!! He is what this company sorely needed.

      - Great, local paper environment. - Able to really get involved with community you cover - Colleagues are generally always available to help in some way - Decent enough benefits & 401K - Pretty much able to work your beat/community in your own way - Fairly flexible schedule if you meet deadlines consistently

      Cons

      - Pay is incredibly low - Because of low pay, not everyone takes their role at paper seriously or are always looking for something 'better' - Some reporters are given more of a leash than others based on friendships and beat covered
