      Pros

      I love my job! It is fully remote. However, the climate/culture is extremely engaging and supportive. We have internal incentives to encourage cross-team praise. There is a culture committee that focuses on making sure we offer inclusive and collaborative times to connect. Additionally, growth and learning are both valued, for we have monthly professional development time and optional book read opportunities. I love what I do and who I get to do it with!

      Pros

      I have been with the company for 1.5 years aprox and I do recommend SmartLogic as a great place to work. It has a very inclusive and respectful environment. SL is a company that values education and promotes emotional safety. Management is always open to any suggestion, talk, feedback in order to keep the team happy and engaged. Management is also super supportive, as we value accountability there is never a feeling of blame or finger pointing but to solve the issue as a team a go further and learn. I'm personally super grateful with the company for giving me an opportunity to work after being out of the industry for some years due to motherhood. I recently participated on an internship program hosted by the company as mentor and I saw all the support provided to the mentees helping them to start a carrer as developers.

      - As I enjoy a lot working from home and the flexibility of the hours, I know permanently WFH is not for everyone

      - Laid back remote-work culture - Really great team of people from diverse professional backgrounds - Community engagement is encouraged - Periodic company happy hours (virtual) - WFH stipend

      Cons

      - Working at consultancies naturally come with a lot of context switching and moving around on projects; it may be harder to get really deep into a technology as such.
