      Intern - Learning new business skills daily - transportation industry totally different. Get the option of not being stuck at desk for whole time at office

      I really wish I had some constructive criticism to share, but my 6 months here have been nothing short of "I would do it again"

      Pros

      I like working here because there is an entrepreneurial mindset from management. Everyone brings their talents to the table and you'll have an opportunity to use them to help grow the business. If I'm lacking a needed skill I'm allowed to take classes as needed to educate myself. I appreciate the opportunity to learn. There are good things happening at Semi-Trailer Big Box.

      Cons

      If you expect an easy ride, this isn't the place to work. You will be expected to treat your job as if you were working for yourself in your own company. When I first started here I learned this. You must be dedicated, disciplined and goal-focused and be able to show management how you are helping to bring success to the company. This isn't really a con but I will say learning to be an entrepreneur is not easy but totally worth it.

      If you want to know business, Semi-Trailer Big Box is the place to be! Today, I think like a businessman, a small business owner and not some robotic corporate zombie. YES, its hard work, YES, there are long days, YES, there are protocols and processes, but its worth it to know that I made a difference in the success of this small business.

      Cons

      Not a place for complacement people. If you want to just get by then keep moving, this is a hard work area! Owner is very business savy and has a great way of making you understand just how things relate in all aspects...especially business. If you believe the pot shot comments written then im sorry to say your sadly mistaken, I have never had an issue with owners, money or job!
