Pros

Maintenance is a viable solution for equipment that is not necessarily essential to the performance of routine operations. Pros Simple: There is no need for sensors and digitalization to detect potential malfunctions early on. No planning: Appointments for replacement of parts do not need to be scheduled in advance. Complete wear and tear: All components are used until they are completely worn down.

Cons

Customer dissatisfaction: When customers experience unexpected breakdowns this can lead to a stop in production, which is not only frustrating but also results in a direct loss of profit and perhaps unhappy customers at the other end of the supply chain. Chaos and disorder on the service side: If a number of customers experience unexpected breakdowns at the same time, service providers without a field service management and Crowd Service solution will not have the resources to tackle the increased demand. This will only increase the level of customer dissatisfaction. Missed learning experience: Since spontaneous problems need to be fixed immediately, there is no time to investigate what went wrong and implement measures to avoid similar problems in the future.

Pros

Their slogan is "Welcome Home" and they take that to heart for employees as well as guests and clients. Very friendly and positive work environment, employees have plenty of support through all levels of management, the pay is fair for within the industry, and plenty of opportunities for advancement exist and are actively encouraged. Management is dedicated to ensuring that a work/life balanced is maintained, they believe strongly in the need for balance and that work shouldn't go home with you at the end of the day. It is the kind of workplace you look forward to going to every morning, it feels like you are genuinely surrounded by friends and family. If this industry is one you are passionate about, you won't regret your time with this company.

Cons

Depending on the time of year it can be very slow, which sometimes results in reduced hours. On the flip side, when it is busy, it sometimes feels impossible to complete all tasks within the scheduled time frame to the standard at which the company expects. This is all fairly common within the hospitality industry as a whole, but it bears mention.
