Pros

Management is accommodating and knowledgeable. Work environment is friendly. The company appears to have a sustainable business model even when the market is slow. HR is competent. Benefits are very good.

Cons

There are occasional week long furlough periods, but they are temporary and announced. Some aspects of the white collar workload are a little antiquated, but they are working hard to modernize.

Pros

Benefits are good, they work with my schedule. Management is focused on employee well-being.

Cons

lay offs happen occasionally, but they are predictable and temporary and they are good about making sure you get unemployment during that time.
