Pros
BUPA cash plan, work from home, sick pay (after 6 months), annual leave and flexible working. New CEO who is extremely forward thinking and considers staff wellbeing to be top priority. Great team spirit in some teams. Strong intention to foster this connection with the whole organisation. Feels like we are on the precipice of something really great.
Cons
Lots of change and teething problems with new system. Some employees who have been in the organisation a long time can be a bit jaded, hoping new positive changes will help improve morale. Some teams can have an unwillingness to think outside the box and can appear to be working a bit robotically. - Having said this, it does seem to be a legacy of a dying organisational culture. There are lots of positive changes coming so all of this will be ironed out and staff are becoming more motivated, positive and working closer together
