Pros

BUPA cash plan, work from home, sick pay (after 6 months), annual leave and flexible working. New CEO who is extremely forward thinking and considers staff wellbeing to be top priority. Great team spirit in some teams. Strong intention to foster this connection with the whole organisation. Feels like we are on the precipice of something really great.

Cons

Lots of change and teething problems with new system. Some employees who have been in the organisation a long time can be a bit jaded, hoping new positive changes will help improve morale. Some teams can have an unwillingness to think outside the box and can appear to be working a bit robotically. - Having said this, it does seem to be a legacy of a dying organisational culture. There are lots of positive changes coming so all of this will be ironed out and staff are becoming more motivated, positive and working closer together

Pros

An excellent ceo who is approachable and cares about the staff and the mission. Flexible working and trust staff A talented team of staff who truly care and work hard for the mission

Cons

Same as any organisation, there is pressure to hit targets, and the priorities change regularly whilst trying to find the solution to help people the best way possible

Pros

Very open to different flexible working options, everyone works from home but the charity is great at keeping people connected. Strong team work and collaboration culture. A genuine and heartfelt commitment to improving the lives of the over 75 age group, Increased focus on staff wellbeing.

Cons

Lots of change which can be a ‘maritime’ experience for staff. Balancing a focus on growth and harnessing technology with maintaining a person centred approach - not all staff feel the balance is right. Strong management culture but taking on board feedback.
