Pros

WOW I started a new job at RPI Consultants. I received a laptop, 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, and a headset before my first day. My email was also set up and they actually had an onboarding plan and schedule. By far the best onboarding experience I have ever had. I am feeling very fortunate to be joining a company that gives employees the tools, training and support needed to make them successful so that the company can be successful.

Cons

I have no cons to note to date.

Pros

I've worked at a lot of staffing companies in a number of different industries in Canada, and I can say without hesitation that RPI is widely regarded as the best in healthcare recruitment for a reason. A very tight knit team, management that actually cares, and above all else, you feel like you're making a difference, especially during pandemic.

Cons

I had a background in staffing so it was pretty easy for me to get used to the recruitment system they use here, but I could see it being tough for someone who's never worked in the field. But if you stick with it and work hard, there's no limit to how well you can do here.

Pros

The bar for individual success is reachable by virtually anyone who works at RPI, although I would recommend having a background in recruitment, and at the very least, sales. You'll be talking on the phone a lot and essentially 'selling' healthcare jobs, so be prepared for that, but again, if you've got the skills there's no telling how high you can climb.

Cons

There can be a fair amount of competition between yourself and the other recruiters/Account Managers, but on the whole it's rare, and the team is pretty tight-knit overall
