Pros
Interesting technology and a collegial atmosphere. Lots of opportunity to make a difference. Free lunches on a regular basis create community and a pool table make it easy to enjoy being there.
Cons
Product technology almost exactly the same as close competitor's, so differentiating becomes a game of programs, financing, pricing, and salesmanship.

Pros
Great team environment. There is a fairly open environment to know what is going on in the business as long as you seek it out. You can directly work with anyone in the organization as you are best able.
Cons
Small company with all the attendant risks. It is in a market that doesn't fully exist yet so there is a lot of evangelism needed. Getting the most out of the work experience does require some effort one the employee's part. Management may not offer information on a regular basis. However, if you make a point to seek it out and be a part, it is shared fairly openly
