Pros

- The incentives. Up to 45% commission which is paid quarterly. They recently threw in annual bonuses as an extra perk. There are quarterly prem clubs, ski/summer trips and xmas/summer parties additionally. - Full autonomy. My Managers and Directors have entrusted me to run my desk how I see fit. This included letting me independently choose my market focus and sponsoring initiatives which I've flagged as likely to benefit my billings. Sure we have KPIs, bit these are now very light touch - more used as a tool for the consultant to run their own audit trail if needed. - Flexibility. Pro let me choose my own market niche and accomodated a flexible working arrangement. We finish early on Fridays, and we do 1 day per week in the office (with the option to go in more if desired, which some do). - Development. Pro invested in my development by sponsoring me to complete wider studies which both enhanced my understanding of my market and helped me grow into new areas. Sure there are occassional promotions - but to be honest we operate as quite a flat structure. I.e., we run our desks how we see fit - and if a consultant can earn 150-200k, do they really care what their job title is? - Openness and transparency. I saw an earlier review bashing the MD for updating everyone as to leavers/joiners via email - bore off! One nice thing about working in an OMB like this is that you get kept up to date with what's happening. We get treated as adults, and frankly I appreciate it. There's none of this second-guessing what some 'ivory tower' board might be thinking. The MD won't pull any punches, but if I have a problem or even disagree with a direction Pro have taken, I know I can approach her and flag it. - Culture. First thing I noticed at Pro was there are actual friendships in the team. There was quite a party vibe in the early days, though the business has changed since covid and it's now a more mature setup. You still have some healthy mayhem on summer/ski trips. Even if you don't throw yourself into the social aspect, it's still nice coming into an office full of chat and laughter.

Cons

Any cons I could share would be knocking recruitment as a line of work generally, rather than Pro specifically. For all of the headaches in recruitment, Pro have done a great job in creating an environment which makes them worthwhile. Seriously, Pro is a great place to work and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is interested in the points outlined above.
