Pros

I have been working for MPI for almost 2 years and it has been a great experience! I applied with no previous security experience or training. In my time here, I've been able to undergo numerous training classes like Defensive and Arrest Tactics at no cost to me to boost my resume for the future and add to my value as an employee here since I am able to work more assignments. I have even changed positions a few times and everyone has been supportive in helping me learn and improve in my current position. I have been quite happy here at MPI!

Cons

Sometimes communication does make from the top management levels to the entry level positions. However, that is always something every company has to continually work on.

Pros

You get to work a variety of posts and shifts. The training opportunities that are provided exceed most companies. The instructors are very knowledgeable and trained at the Law Enforcement level. The pay is competitive with other companies around the nation in the same line of work. They don't short change their clients on services provided.

Cons

It is not 9 - 5, but lets face it no security company is. Occasionally you will get called last minute to work to help fill in for other people.

Pros

Flexible - willing to work with school and military schedules. Training - CPR, First Aid, Defense and Arrest Tactics skills training required paid training for all officers. Extensive firearms and other training available to all officers. High quality officers - require college credits or former military or law enforcement background to apply. Competitive pay and a matching 401k. Interesting work at a variety of locations. Company has a solid reputation in the community and provides a good stepping stone to Law Enforcement and other fields.

Cons

Security is needed more on nights and weekends so they do require availability during those times. Not a 9-5 job.
