      Engineering + product heavy team Encouragement to develop broad technical interests (reading groups, many engaged in self-study)

      Cons

      Work can be intense Startup hours and expectations are certainly high (although not as high as things online led to believe) Some of the people are not normal

      Pros

      Exciting problems and top colleagues, energetic but surprisingly not the excessive grind culture that was advertised (think CXO should give up doing PR lol). Very product, eng, and user focused organization and everyone is rallied around building a great product.

      Cons

      SF is a mediocre city in many ways.
