There is an emphasis on growth and feedback which really helps to see the difference you can make day to day to a target, a task, or your customers. The company has a great reputation with our customers, so you are overwhelmingly approached by customers who are genuinely pleased to see you and seek advice. The pace of work can be fast, but it balances out in between customers which allows time to catch-up.
Cons
It's great that staff have accountability and there is trust that you can make your own decisions when resolving issues, but I imagine that this creativity isn't for everyone.
Work with sales targets and a big range of products from fancy to cheap stuff, you get out of your comfort zone. Came from doing warehouse work, it has been good to break out of doing a job which is just routine tasks. Made some genuine friends with customers too. There is an impression that staff are cared about and lots of people are here for years which proves it.
Cons
Install department can fob off a job or break something and we then have to deal with it all. You get frustrated as we let down customers spending a lot of money and install staff can seemingly do no wrong to higher management. They don't have an easy job of course, but talking about accountability cuts out the backwards and forwards and maybe gives them some skin in the game.
