As a sales person, this job was amazing. I felt supported and encouraged during my entire tenure at Home Carpet One. The owners and manager always made me feel like I was valuable there and helped nurture an environment that I looked forward to going to daily. Every sales team has its snakes but this team only had a few; other sales people proved to be invaluable in my success at this company through their mentorship, guidance, support, and encouragement. If you know how to sell, this is a perfect job for you… the money just walks right into your pocket. The owners also are very open to feedback and healthy discussion. Any time feedback was given my way, I was treated as a human being with respect and care. The customer service provided is something to be proud of, it is easy to be proud working at Home Carpet One.

Employee for 5 years. Home Carpet One has always been flexible and very understanding when it comes to family, health, and education. In fact, they encourage continued education and do their best to accommodate a healthy work life/home life balance. Much of the employees are very close professional and personally. My job as merchandiser is fast paced, not much down time, but it is worth it as my coworkers are always very appreciative. A good job does not go unnoticed. I’m not micromanaged and have quite a bit of freedom when it comes to decisions on showroom layouts, branding and marketing ideas, virtually anything that falls under the merchandising umbrella. If you are creative person, you can really thrive here on both the sales side and merchandising side. The two owners are always available and open to input on improvements internally, externally, customer satisfaction, branding/marketing, co-worker cooperation, etc., they always make time, I think that is huge.
