I have been working for north suburban as a registered nurse for about 3 years now. I have recently been out sick and throughout the course of my time out, I have been receiving calls and text messages from both my leadership team and HR representative. This is not to get me back to work but rather to ensure that I was taking care of myself and that I was doing okay. Their number one concern has been my personal health and I cannot begin to express the gratitude that I feel for that. North suburban may look like a small hospital on the outside but this team works their butts off every day. We take one another’s well being so personally and genuinely treat each other as family.
