Excellent care for the Individuals supported through the organization is a top priority. The healthcare-like framework of the organization and strong nursing department set the tone for compassion and excellence. Friendship community has a great orientation introduction for new Team Members. Friendship Community actively organizes mentorship opportunities for Team Members in leadership roles. There is genuine interest and investment into the success of Team Member’s who demonstrate true desire to overcome challenges, and develop professionally.

Cons

Challenges include learning with primitive systems and high employment turnover. The organization should analyze the risk and benefits of improving systems, particularly software systems. The organization does not set clear growth goals across departments, which sharing direction has potential to help cooperation and retention. Management should not blame low retention rates on wages, as healthier environments are proven to be more valuable towards employment retention than wages.
