      The underlying theme that makes FKA an excellent workplace is a profound culture of support, trust, and transparency. People are well cared for and, in turn, they care about each other and the work. Many have been here for years, which is rare for our industry. Something FKA does exceptionally well is creating opportunities and actively seeking to nurture talent, ensuring people are given the best shot to succeed.

      Pros

      Leadership genuinely cares about employees. There's a culture of support at FKA with a team of diverse, compassionate, and smart people. Very flexible work arrangements with a generous hybrid model. Excellent benefits for a company of this size and fair, transparent compensation. FKA provides exposure to a diverse array of projects and highly supports professional development.

      Cons

      With teams in two cities — Edmonton and Toronto — it can be hard to get to know everyone in the city you don't work out of.

      Pros

      The team is very collaborative and fun to work with, everybody is smart and motivated. The variety of clients keeps the work interesting. The atmosphere in the office is warm and casual, and there's a good hybrid model in place for employees in Edmonton.

      Cons

      Just like in every marketing agency, the work often needs to be turned over quickly, and there are periods or higher stress. But overall, FKA does a better job than average at protecting the work/life balance of their employees.
