Pros

You get to say you work at Conde Nast (Vogue and GQ) but that's about it. Nice offices at the Adelphi. Nice coffee.

Cons

Very political, terrible salaries. Conflicts of interest between London and New York. Senior management not present and away with the fairies. Sadly, the culture is very much about worshipping certain individuals who think the world revolves around them, this, in turn, has created cliques who "lunch". You only progress if you brown nose some people and shout the loudest. They talk about being digitally focused but there is hardly any innovation given clunky old systems and archaic ways of doing things. Salaries are beneath-market across the board, but 'selected' individuals have huge disparities in their favour because they are 'special'. Underneath all the gloss of the magazines sadly lays a terrible culture that breeds horrible habits, hence the term Conde Nasty.

Pros

You’re wealthy enough to be relaxed, but not wealthy enough to be careless.

Cons

but NYC’s costs prevent true luxury unless income is much higher.

Pros

Great to be in proximity to such amazing brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker

Cons

Pay is absolutely criminal unless you're "bonus eligible." Another billion dollar company crying poverty. Also, absolutely zero possibility of advancement.
