Data Exchange has been in business for 17 years and counting! They promote from within the people who are responsible and consistent and pleasant to work with. Their Director of Operations started on the floor as an inbound operator! Bi-lingual speaking Agents get higher pay. Referral bonuses to employees who help recruit and retain great employees. Work environment is way BETTER than most contact centers. Very flexible hours, so it works well for part-time employees that need some extra income or students who have challenging scheduling needs.
Despite what many think about call centers, this company serves the energy and telecom markets and has MANY opportunities for career growth. Opportunities in IT, HR, Analytics, QA, Research, Management, telephony, etc. Plus you can work at any of their locations in Tulsa, OK, Las Vegas NV, or the newest location of Fort Lauderdale FL. They are launching new vertical markets that are very interesting and have huge potential! All in all, I think they are poised to GROW for another 17 years!
Cons
The work is pretty routine because it involves going over the terms and conditions of contracts with customers over the phone but it is consistent and stable work. I'm not one for complaining about being busy while I'm here...its the 'busy' that keeps them in business and me in a job :) Most of the Operators that work here are very nice and enjoyable to work with.
