Small firm offers good learning experience

Pros

This is a small firm so you will get a lot of experience on different parts of each project. The principal cares about the level of design in every project and will strive to produce quality work. The other members of this office have a lot of experience and you can learn a lot from them. If you appreciate the feel of a small office, you may find a good fit here. The pay and benefits are not competitive but they are fair.

Cons

Office structure is a little uncertain at times since many people assume many different responsibilities. When there is a deadline, the whole office can be pulled in to work. Time off and sick days feel like they should be used only when absolutely necessary.
