Pay is ridiculous for the background most coaches have.. Upward mobility lacking. Clicky and favoritism evident very quickly. Overworked and raises/promotions based on numbers more than athlete satisfaction. Becomes a numbers game and feels like personal training business in that sense. Management promotes a sense of always challenging each other and showing that you are "right" and the other person is wrong. Not the ideal learning environment for everyone.
