Most firms in the space are either consulting or tech, CHS is a blend that not all only supports payer and provider clients but now operates its own IPA and ACO, leveraging the sane tech and experts. Opportunities for learning and growth are unmatched, particularly with relation to capitation and delegation.

Cons

Hours can be long, much like management consulting, however with the firm actually operating client and firm affiliated IPA, ACO, health plan TPAs/MSos, UM, CM, EDW, etc the stakes are higher. Client situations can be challenging, with a lack of clarity as information is gathered, no two engagements are the same, so success requires one to be a self starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to manage up and organize/align either SMEs or with account team, depending on your role
