Blue Tree's fleet management products, both hardware and software, are really excellent and are WAY ahead of our (much larger) international competitors. The Agile methodology used by the SW team is the best I've seen in my career. The engineers are all top notch and there's a really good and fun atmosphere.
Cons
Shortly after I joined Blue Tree was acquired by a larger company, ORBCOMM, and the integration of the two companies hasn't always been smooth. Having said that it seems to be coming together much better now.
Blue Tree empowers its workforce by giving them opportunities to progress within the company quickly and allowing staff to make a difference day-to-day.
Suggestions are listened to and the company is willing to learn from mistakes and improve processes continually.
The product range is continually growing offering more and more solutions to the industry. The company understands the needs of its customer base and aligns itself to meet the requirements of the industry.
It is a very exciting time to be part of this company.
Cons
As the company grows, there are continual challenges to be met.
As an agile company, we are able to deal well with the change as a result of growth and expansion, but this makes the workplace challenging at times, though ultimately worthwhile.
