This company has very interesting technology. They do both aviation weather systems and integrated display systems for air traffic controllers. The company's products improve safety for anyone that flies. Being part of this group and knowing that my work has such a positive impact on so many people has been a great experience. The people here are dedicated and fun to work with. This has been the best place I've worked in my career.
Cons
The company works on some fairly large projects that require a lot of attention to detail and adherence to strict guidelines and deadlines. The company also runs a little lean, as most companies seem to be doing nowadays. This leads to some long work hours. But the pay is good and the team great to work with.
Unpredictable travel. We wouldn't be told our travel day until the day before we were set to fly home which made scheduling vacation or doctor visits difficult.
