Support everything from sustainment of ground and air forces to humanitarian relief to NASA and Presidential support
Cons
Declining retention of maintenance personnel that leads to the decay of an experienced workforce, aging aircraft and current AF training and "certifications" do not transfer or translate to an A&P certification, unlike many other career fields where members receive certs that are acknowledged by the civilian sector
