Pros

AES offers a great working environment with a strong sense of community and collaboration. The relationships between colleagues and higher managers are positive and supportive, making it easy to grow professionally. The company also hosts social events, fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere. Additionally, AES provides excellent learning opportunities, especially for drafters who are interested in electrical design but may not have an electrical background. It’s a fantastic place to start and grow your career in this field. Additionally, having a great source of knowledge for the electrical code book, Ark Tsisserev, who is kindly always available to support with any questions and concerns about electrical codes. Moreover, the office is situated in a beautiful location in the heart of downtown, offering employees the chance to enjoy pleasant breaks and refreshing walks between work.

Cons

Continue to focus on implementing supportive policies, such as the recent change to the work-from-home policy. This adjustment demonstrates AES’s commitment to employee well-being, even though there were initial concerns about remote work. Maintaining and developing such thoughtful policies will further enhance employee satisfaction and trust.

Pros

- Great office location - Great team I had a really good experience at AES - It was my first job in the industry, and everyone was incredibly supportive in sharing their knowledge with me. AES is an excellent place to develop your skills and gain a deep understanding of the industry, especially the electrical side.

Cons

- AES has a career plan for technical people, but not for Administrative staff - Currently, there isn't an option to work from home, but they are updating their policy, which I believe will be a positive change!
