Nelvana, a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment, is a leading producer and distributor of children's animated television programs, films, and home video. Its library of more than 3,000 half-hour episodes includes such characters as Babar, Berenstain Bears, and Franklin. The company supplies shows to broadcasters in more than 190 countries, including such TV outlets as the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and the UK's ITV. In addition to television programming, Nelvana manages consumer product licensing agreements associated with its properties, and produces children's books through Kids Can Press.
