Snider Fleet Solutions supplies new tires, retreads, and vehicle services to the transportation industry. Snider Tire, Inc. was founded in 1976 by John H. Snider, father of current Chairman/CEO John K. Snider. Senior Mr. Snider purchased General Tire Service, a local dealer in Greensboro, North Carolina, and renamed the company Snider Tire, Inc. We originally offered a variety of products and services including car tires, new truck tires, off-the-road tires, and retread truck tires - many of the same products we still provide today.
Today, Snider Fleet Solutions is one of the largest commercial tire dealers and retreaders in the nation, recognized as an industry leader in providing innovative outsourcing alternatives for one-truck fleets to large, multi-location trucking fleets. We also serve fleets with best-in-class maintenance, mechanical service, 24/7 emergency roadside assistance and used truck buying and selling.
We employ more than 1400 service professionals at over 80 locations throughout the South and Midwest. Additionally, we operate 11 strategically located Michelin retread facilities and 12 distribution centers that provide delivery capability to over 75% of the continental United States. With four decades of growth behind us, Snider Fleet Solutions is expertly providing fleets and owner-operators the product offerings and responsive service that exceeds expectations.
