Queenstown is a town known for its natural beauty, sitting on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by stunning mountains, with some of the best ski fields on your doorstep. A town with a vibrant community, adventure capital, world class vineyards and historic mining towns.

We are looking for a Frontline Station Support Officer superstar. Your day will be dynamic and rewarding. You'll be a friendly face of our station, providing exceptional customer service at the front counter with professionalism, respect and empathy. You'll also play a vital behind the scenes role delivering critical operational and administrative support for our police staff.

Your day will include handling queries with care, discretion and efficiency. Data entry, file and record management and helping keep the station running smoothly.

Key Accountabilities:

• Managing challenging situations involving members of the public in a professional, respectful, and empathetic manner.
• Management and security of exhibits and lost and found property
• Recording of complaints from members of the public, answering general inquiries and performing reception duties such managing contractor / visitor access.
• Processing of alcohol applications in a timely manner. Building and maintaining partnerships with external agencies.
• Strong Organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $70,030 and $73,154 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
