Marine Maintenance Systems Planner
Bring your maintenance planning and asset management expertise to one of New Zealand’s most unique marine environments. RealNZ is seeking a highly organised and technically capable Marine Maintenance Systems Planner to support the optimisation, planning, and long-term reliability of our marine fleet and maintenance systems.
As our Marine Maintenance Systems Planner, you’ll play a key role within the Asset Management team, developing and maintaining the planned maintenance frameworks, CMMS master data, and forward maintenance planning systems that support operational readiness across the RealNZ marine fleet.
Working closely with the Asset Manager – Marine, Marine Technical Advisor, Maintenance Leads, and operational teams, you’ll help improve maintenance visibility, preventative maintenance effectiveness, asset reliability, and long-term maintenance readiness.
This role is focused on proactive planning rather than day-to-day reactive coordination. You’ll develop preventative maintenance sequences, job plans, asset hierarchies, work packs, and maintenance frameworks within Maximo to ensure planned maintenance activities are accurate, compliant, and execution-ready.
You’ll also support minor renewal Capex planning, contribute to maintenance forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives, and help strengthen maintenance planning capability across the business.
