About the role
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling our range of high-quality agricultural and construction equipment from world class brands including Kubota, Landini and Kuhn. Based out of our Mosgiel Dealership, you’ll work closely with local farmers, rural communities, and contractors, offering solutions tailored to their needs and helping grow our market presence.
Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Full ownership of the sales process, from new customer prospecting to existing customer reselling and retention.
- Promote and sell a range of agricultural and construction equipment to customers across the region.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with local farmers, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the rural and construction industries.
- Use your knowledge of machinery and equipment to provide expert advice and match the right products to customer needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
About you
You will have proven experience in sales within the agricultural or heavy machinery sectors with strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals and build long-term customer relationships.
You bring:
- A well-established network within the farming, rural, or construction community is highly desirable.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to foster professional relationships with your peers.
- Solid computer skills, including experience with CRM systems and the ability to learn new tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
