About the Role
As a Graduate Integration Engineer, based in our Auckland office, you will support the delivery of integration activities across aviation projects under the guidance of senior engineers and Integration Managers.
This opportunity is ideal for a graduate in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics who enjoys applying technical knowledge in real project environments while also building confidence in customer-facing situations. You will be exposed to a wide range of work across design, testing, commissioning and site delivery, with opportunities to travel to project sites in New Zealand and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
With training and supervision, you will:
- Assist with integrated system design and electrical control activities for airport environments
- Support preparation of Bills of Materials and technical documentation
- Participate in safety‑in‑design reviews and risk assessments
- Assist with validation of electrical and controls‑based CAD drawings
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning and on-site project activities
- Assist with execution of test plans under the direction of senior engineers
- Support basic PLC software development, testing and troubleshooting
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support during project delivery and commissioning phases
- Contribute to prototype assembly, testing and validation activities across a variety of integration and automation project stages
- Work collaboratively with project teams, contractors and customers to deliver project outcomes
About You
You are a recent graduate who is excited by the idea of working across different project phases, engaging with customers and learning through hands-on site experience. You are confident presenting ideas, communicating clearly and building relationships, and you are motivated by a role that offers both variety and future career progression.
You will bring:
- A Bachelor of Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar)
- Foundational knowledge of electrical and control systems
- An interest in PLC programming, industrial automation and integrated systems (Beckhoff exposure is advantageous but not essential)
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and structured testing
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn from feedback
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, safety‑focused mindset
