We’re a high growth e‑comm + health company doing real volume on the front end. Now we need a world‑class lifecycle operator to unlock the back end. This is a role for someone who loves email, understands how to develop and iterate on a brand, understands how to write copy that HOLDS ATTENTION, and knows how to use AI as a co-pilot… …not a crutch. Ideally you have worked in industries that may have sms or email marketing restrictions (gambling, healthcare, cannabis etc.)
As Lifecycle Marketing Lead, you’ll work closely with our leadership to optimize our email and SMS marketing campaigns. Your goal is to 1) maximize lead conversion rates and nurture prospects into happy, paying customers and 2) make sure customers ascend to our offerings that help them maintain their results long term
You’ll own email + SMS from end to end using Attentive… flows, campaigns, reactivations, upsells, content. If you’re the person who loves watching metrics improve week over week because you wired it correctly, this is your seat. Continuous optimization is key in this role. You will regularly test elements like segmentation, personalization, timing, content formats and calls-to-action. The goal is to improve every day.
In the future, you’ll be on the path to owning the lifecycle marketing team within as our growth team scales.

Unlock Attentive & build the SMS machine
Audit and fix our Attentive setup (or similar): consent flows, segments, triggers, data feeds.
Design and launch behavior‑based SMS flows for:
Convert Leads/Abandoned Intent/Checkouts (Quiz completes who didn’t buy)
Upsell offers
Reactivations / Winback
Run weekly SMS blasts with tight offers and real angles, not generic “check out our sale.” to convert leads into sales
2-3x our current lead (quiz‑complete) sale conversion
Architect a 100‑email nurture library (yes, 100) that:
Warms cold leads
Handles objections (safety, side effects, “doubt,” cost, looking older, spouse, etc.)
Moves people from “curious” “bought”
Upsell subscribers into add-ons that sustain their results long term
Map out the full upsell journey for current subscribers
Build dedicated email/SMS sequences that educate, show proof and present clear, time bound offers
10x Reactivation Volume: winback lapsed or churned customers
Segment churned / paused / inactive customers (by reason, last product, time since last order).
Create structured winback campaigns: “Comeback” offers, “We fixed X” angles, Seasonal pushes (New Year, summer, etc.)
Build a quarterly reactivation calendar that becomes a machine, not a one‑off blast.
In the near future
Content + AI‑SEO support - Turn your best performing emails into: Blog posts (for SEO) and posts for social content (IG/FB). Use AI to scale this: one strong daily email repurposed into onsite content that feeds our search presence and LLMs.
Turn customers into advocates: You'll craft customized content and VIP offers to engage our existing customers, promoting loyalty and retention. You'll showcase your creative expertise to make our customers feel valued, understood, and inspired.
You are directly responsible for turning our 4,000+ new leads per month and thousands of prior customers into revenue and will power your workflow via KPIs (shared upon starting)
Own all email/SMS strategy and execution across the lifecycle: lead nurture, first conversion, upsell, and winback.
Design segmentation and behavior‑based journeys in Attentive that move our avatar from “curious” to “committed subscribers," not just blast newsletters.
Build and maintain a testing backlog: Subject lines, Hooks & angles, Offers, Timings, Segments etc.
Run constant A/B tests until there’s a clear control, then beat it.
Monitor and improve deliverability, list hygiene, and performance by cohort (RPR, LTV, churn).
Optimize deliverability & build reporting dashboards to report weekly on:
Lead sale conversion
Revenue per recipient / per segment
Upsell / reactivation rate
Tests run, tests won/lost, next moves
Key email KPIs: open rate, CTR, conversion rate, revenue attribution, churn impact.
Create quarterly reactivation and promo calendars that balance value‑first education with clear offers, not endless discounts.
4+ years owning lifecycle (email + SMS) for DTC or subscription brands with hard revenue KPIs (conversion, LTV, reactivation). Not “helped the team” – you owned the numbers
Proven wins where you took a high‑volume list and materially increased conversion or LTV. Show before/after numbers
Comfort with regulated or sensitive niches (health, finance, etc.) and compliant email/SMS practices
Deep familiarity with at least one modern ESP + automation stack (Attentive, Klaviyo, Customer.io, Braze, etc.) and basic analytics (cohorts, RPR, LTV)
AI‑first workflow: you use tools like ChatGPT/Claude to move 3–5× faster, but you know how to edit and keep voice human
Maintain fast-paced, high-quality output within a repeatable, efficient process
Prior work in telehealth, HRT, or supplements.
Experience building reactivation and upsell “money models” where backend offers drive most of the profit.
Ability to translate email angles into social content briefs for IG/FB and blog / SEO posts targeting women 45–64.
