Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Prepare working papers to support financial entries and complete analysis of financial information.

• Complete the Financial Statements for the New Zealand and Australian Companies.

• Assist in audit field work, responding to audit requests, identifying and interpreting data.

• Prepare Tax working papers to support the tax position of New Zealand and Australian entities.

• Support the wider Finance Team with year-end close, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Identify and implement process improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Completing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or similar at a New Zealand University

• Excellent knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets

• A drive for efficiency to effectively meet tight deadlines

• Flexible approach to working in a changing environment and can work well under pressure

• Ability to analyse data and suggest conclusions/recommendations to others

• Proactive, collaborative communication style and a drive for continuous learning

• Ability to think critically and work independently while maintaining an analytical approach and high attention to detail.

• Curiosity and willingness to learn

• Must be legally authorised to work in New Zealand without the need for company sponsorship
