We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Loss Prevention Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be supported by the Loss Prevention Manager with daily operations,

helping to maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment for our customers and staff.

Your duties will include:

• Greet customers and provide frontline security services
• Protection of valuable assets.
• Provide a strong presence of security.
• Making sure that no shoplifting happens during the shift.
• Physical response to security incidents.
• Be the first point of contact should any challenging situations arise
• Report any unusual activity
• Provide loss prevention support/servicesPlay a vital role in keeping the team safe
• Have awareness of stock
• Duty Manager of the store while managers are away
• Duty manager checks during your rostered shift

Here is what you will need:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A good degree of physical fitness.
• Confidence using computers and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to de-escalate situations and deal with a variety of people
• Previous experience in CCTV, control room monitoring and use of security related databases and equipment is advantageous (desired but not essential).
• A clean criminal record
• Great communication skills
• Good personal presentation
• An approachable nature
• Great work ethics
