We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Data Warehouse Developer to join a high-impact team supporting the Ministry's enterprise data platforms. This role is central to the development and evolution of our data warehousing and business intelligence solutions that underpin data and insights across the education sector. This is a core Data Warehousing team with the opportunity to contribute to defining ways of working and ensure collaboration occurs across both Data and Digital Delivery. Supported by Digital Practices, the team plays a key role enabling greater use of data for the Ministry, the schools, and our learners
Salary range $100,296- $121,490 per annum plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

Matihiko | Digital holds the strategic lead on technology matters across the Ministry. This includes oversight of digital services in the Ministry, leading the cross-agency strategy `Connected Ako: Digital and Data for Learning', enabling education system wide planning and investment in digital services, and ensuring the Ministry's alignment with broader best-practice government digital and data direction and guidance.
