As a Quality Control Analyst, you will a play crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards and regulatory guidelines. You will be at the heart of the team essential for preventing defective products from reaching the market, protecting consumers, and ensuring the company maintains regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do
- Handle, conduct sampling and inspection of incoming materials according to specification and test methods.
- Provide high quality data by testing laboratory samples, according to our specifications and test methods, while complying to cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) / cGLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to agreed sampling/testing schedules for raw material, bulk and finished products and compliance activities to meet customer quality and timeline expectations.
- Ensure that work activities and team outputs consider and adhere to cGMP compliance standards in all circumstances.
What you’ll bring
- Qualified expert – Hold a BSc or equivalent qualification
- Experienced Industry professional – you will have experience working in an analytical lab including working with instrumentation. To have a broad set of technical skills and experience in raw material and finished product testing using chromatographic (HPLC, UPLC and GC), spectrophotometric (UV-Vis, FTIR and NIR) and other wet chemistry testing techniques (eg Karl Fischer, auto-titrators and TOC). You will also have experience in the use of laboratory data systems such as CDS, LIMS and statistical analysis software.
- Attention to Detail – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Team player – You will be an engaged team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, driven by continuous improvement
- Fitness- ability to lift up to 25kg of weight required for handling incoming materials for sampling.
- A full Drivers Licence is required for this role and a forklift licence will be a great benefit.
