As a Sales Administrator, you’ll play a key role supporting customers and the sales team, helping ensure enquiries and orders are processed accurately and efficiently at the front end of the business.
This role will be responsible for enquiries, quoting, and sales order entry, acting as a key point of coordination between customers, sales, and the factory. The quality and accuracy of information handled in this role is critical, as it directly impacts customer experience and the smooth running of downstream production.

Handling customer enquiries by phone and email and ensuring clear, accurate information is provided
- Preparing quotes and entering sales orders accurately into the ERP system
- Managing workflows to ensure enquiries and orders move smoothly and customer expectations are met
- Interpreting drawings and job requirements using internal systems and references
- Providing clear documentation and information to customers and internal teams
- Supporting Area Sales Managers with quoting, enquiries, and lead time information
- Building strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with projects and supporting wider team priorities as required

Experience supporting customers in a business-to-business environment, ideally involving technical or specification-based products
- Background in a sales administration, customer service, or similar customer-facing role
- Confidence working with product information, pricing, quotes, and sales orders
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into accurate quotes and orders
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with data entry and administration
- Confidence working with systems, numbers, and day-to-day order processing
- The ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A practical, reliable approach and a team-first mindset
