A Loan Processor / Mortgage Administrator supports mortgage advisers, brokers, and lenders by managing loan applications from submission through approval and settlement. The role is highly administrative and requires strong attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities
Collect and verify clients' financial documents (bank statements, payslips, ID, tax records).
Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
Enter client information into CRM and lender systems.
Liaise with clients, banks, solicitors, valuers, and mortgage advisers.
Prepare and submit mortgage applications to lenders.
Track application progress and follow up on outstanding documents.
Ensure compliance with lending regulations and company policies.
Prepare loan settlement and approval documentation.
Maintain accurate client records and reports.
Skills Required
Strong administration and data-entry skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
Knowledge of mortgage and lending processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Time management and organizational skills.
