Answer: I explained that in a professional environment, conflict is about differences in ideas—not personal issues. I answered in a structured way: Listen first to fully understand the other perspective Align decisions with product goals Discuss advantages and trade-offs based on requirements Remove ego from the discussion Use a structured approach like STAR when explaining situations Despite giving a clear, senior-level answer, there was no meaningful follow-up or deeper discussion. It felt like the answer wasn’t properly evaluated, which is consistent with the overall lack of depth in the interview process.
