"I tend to be very maternal towards my employees, taking care to understand and help within their personal lives when it may effect their work habits. I am more a leader than a manager, I will not ask anyone on my staff to do anything I wouldn't be willing to do myself. I like having a open communication policy with my employees. Where they can come up and ask anything they could possibly want to know, and within reason I will answer, or find out for them. I ensure personal responsibility for peoples actions, by knowing everything that goes on within the practice. Not from micro-managing, but from listening to people and the things that are going on around me. And I am incredibly logical in my approach to management, the simplest path is usally the one that is done right the first time."
