I prefer a more hands-off approach when it comes to my relationship with my manager. Obviously, it is important to be trained well and have a open dialogue with your boss that fosters questions and concerns when they arise, but when it comes to my daily job, I prefer to work independently. I believe this style promotes the highest amount of creativity and proactivity.
