Interview
Teams call with two people who work there.
Got asked some bland questions but the panel seemed affable.
There were a few stumbling blocks as I had perhaps been expecting something a little more dynamic and few times I had to ask for questions to be rephrased as I couldn't work out what the actually wanted to know- there was question about information flows and I had to ask was it a technical question about the tech required to transact something- ie API connections, or a hypothetical question about general governance approach?
I was asked if I was ok not being part of a project's full lifecycle- I answered I had no issue with it as that was broadly the case with a lot of my roles as assurance, but it would seem what they wanted to know was did I have any experience as a consultant to which the answer is yes but I was not asked this question directly so they concluded it was no.
It all floundered when I was asked what my salary expectations were and it turned out my current salary was the top end of what they could offer.
90min interview mostly behaviour questions and finished with a technical senario question, also including a lot of questions of how to deal with client too, teamwork questions, finally senario question based on the role with 8 min time to respond to it
