Areté interview questions

It started with a phone screen with HR and background check docs. After that I had a technical interview over video. The interviewers were prepared with basic optics questions (e.g., what is F/#?, what is comatic aberration?) and assessed me for specific skills needed for upcoming projects.

15 min screening -> 1 hr technical screening going over qualifications and basic C++ and OS related questions -> 3 hour panel interview. the panel interview included me presenting a project (15-20mins) I did in the past, and there was also a take home assignment I had to do prior to the panel. The interview process was also very slow, it took a month after the technical screening for them to schedule the panel interview with me.
