Hello everyone! I have systems administration experience in on-premise(traditional) data centre based clusters and servers and looking for a job but lacking cloud experience. Will doing a cloud certification help me land a job or an interview? Please advice.

So I’ve worked in both. Get cloud experience even if it’s only setting up new test vm’s. This is the way it’s gonna be. Traditional DC’s are gone. No need for it. I can provision a production ready server in 15 min. It’s the same thing as maintaining physical stuff it’s just virtual now. Naming has changed but not the process. Still need security and computing power
It won’t hurt
it'd certainly show that you're up for learning. and particularly with cloud, if you're willing to spend some money you can do a home lab/learning env.
This market has been so tough lately, even if you're skilled. I would do it all though until someone decides to give you a shot.
