how to break into equity research?
How is Putnam doing these days? Have heard stuff about Partners leaving post-Inizio integration, but how is the environment for Consultants/Managers? Any insights on WLB?
How is the NYC ZS office? Any WLB and random office perks besides being in the empire state building?
I've spent the last 2 years working at a smaller but well-respected healthcare/life sciences consulting firm. I've realized that A) I don't like the work of a consultant, and B) work-life balance is too important for me to continue being this miserable. 2 years of experience isn't much, but looking for advice regarding any type of roles that might see me as a good applicant? I've just hit over the 6 figure mark and am willing to take a bit of a salary cut (but not much ideally). TYIA
WLB at ZS when moving from Associate to Associate Consultant? Is the workload or type of work worth the extra pay?
For those who have escaped to industry, curious how WLB differs between consulting and some of the more high-visibility functions like BD/CorpDev at a larger biotech with a reputation for intensity like a BridgeBio or similar? Versus say a supporting role in insights or forecasting? I understand a lot is manager and company dependent but curious the range of folks' experience. Thanks in advance
