listing "AI skills" with zero specifics is becoming the new "proficient in Microsoft Office" imo. like cool but what does that actually mean, can you prompt engineer or just use chatgpt to write emails

honestly the worst one i keep seeing is "proficient in Microsoft Office" in 2026. like yes we know you can open Excel. the real cringe is when ppl list AI tools they clearly used once â just say youre learning, nobody expects mastery yet

I just got laid off for the second time in 13 months. I can't describe how low I feel. How do I even begin to explain this to other employers? I've been seen as expendable by two other companies. Why would a new employer want to roll the dice on me?
